Bringing You Up To Speed

Thanksgiving...
We went to Utah and visited with the whole McArthur family. It was awesome to have everyone there. And the "little" nieces and nephews are now BIG cousins for Addy and Kate to play with. They had such a good time. Addy is always talking about how she is going to be big like her cousin Caleb. We also get to see our friends when we travel to Utah. The Crosbies and their kids are great. Addy and Keira love to play anything..but dress-up is what I caught on camera. Kaitlin and Ellie (in the photo with Amy and I) are only three months apart and will soon be best friends too. :)

Kaitlin's new talent

Okay, so this first picture was just too great to not put on here. Addyson likes to help "feed" her...thus, the bearded baby. So I missed updating about her crawling. She has been on the move since October 9. It was like she was rocking back and forth one day, making a few moves the next and chasing after Addy the next. But crawling isn't good enough for her. Now she only crawls to a place where she can stand up. Lot's of bruises on her head already. :(

Aaahhhh!

Addy is loving the camera lately...taking pictures, that is.

Halloween

The kids had a blast trick or treating and partying at our place with friends. Addy was a bumble bee again and Kaitlin was the turtle. I love to use costumes over again.

Addy's First Day of Pre School

On September 4 Addyson made her school debut. She was so excited to go to school. I thought she might have a little separation anxiety, but when I said I was going to leave, she said, "Okay, bye." and never looked back. I guess it was me that was sad to be apart from her. I had some tears soon after I left her, but then I looked at Kate and was happy for our alone time.

Kate's Turn...

Kaitlin is so much fun now! Nearly six months old (yeah, I know, SIX MONTHS!), she is eating rice cereal and some veggies. She started sitting up about a week ago using her arms for support, now she is just sitting up and her arms are all over the place. She is also doing the Army crawl. We are excited that this one is going to crawl. Kaitlin loves Addyson! I can't explain the love and admiration you can see in her eyes when she looks at Addy or even hears her voice. I hope it will always be this way. Anyway, enjoy the photos...finally.

Playing Catch-up...

So those of you who actually check my blog every few months will be surprised to see a true update. I've let months pass without a photo so now there will be many. Starting with Texas (May-June)...Addy decided to take a dip in the bucket while I washed the cars.

She also loves to fly her kites. Actually, this may be the only time SHE has held the kite. Normally when she wants to go "fly the kite", we are the ones who run around holding it.

She loves playing outside...even if she isn't that great at what she's doing. I wish I had video of her "roller skating". She definitely saw the humor in it too. She is with her friend and neighbor, Hannah (we miss her and all of our friends we have left there.)
