On September 4 Addyson made her school debut. She was so excited to go to school. I thought she might have a little separation anxiety, but when I said I was going to leave, she said, "Okay, bye." and never looked back. I guess it was me that was sad to be apart from her. I had some tears soon after I left her, but then I looked at Kate and was happy for our alone time.

Kate's Turn...
Kaitlin is so much fun now! Nearly six months old (yeah, I know, SIX MONTHS!), she is eating rice cereal and some veggies. She started sitting up about a week ago using her arms for support, now she is just sitting up and her arms are all over the place. She is also doing the Army crawl. We are excited that this one is going to crawl. Kaitlin loves Addyson! I can't explain the love and admiration you can see in her eyes when she looks at Addy or even hears her voice. I hope it will always be this way. Anyway, enjoy the photos...finally.

Playing Catch-up...
So those of you who actually check my blog every few months will be surprised to see a true update. I've let months pass without a photo so now there will be many. Starting with Texas (May-June)...Addy decided to take a dip in the bucket while I washed the cars.
She also loves to fly her kites. Actually, this may be the only time SHE has held the kite. Normally when she wants to go "fly the kite", we are the ones who run around holding it.
She loves playing outside...even if she isn't that great at what she's doing. I wish I had video of her "roller skating". She definitely saw the humor in it too. She is with her friend and neighbor, Hannah (we miss her and all of our friends we have left there.)

Yes it's true...I'm updating!
So it's been a while, and I've heard it from everyone, so I hope you'll all be pleased. Let me just tell you what we've been up to recently...maybe you'll excuse the lack of blogging.
After Kaitlin was born I was recovering from a not so fun birth experience for a good month or more. Then I was trying to figure out how to be a mother of two. It's been great for Addy to not have so much attention and it's given me and Kate some time to bond. Then we sold our house, moved out in early June to live in a friend's home for three weeks until Todd's graduation (woo-hoo Todd...Congratulations!!!), then drove to Utah to visit family and friends, flew to California to visit my family, flew to Washington to start a new adventure...and have been unpacking ever since.
I am glad so many of you want to see and hear what's going on in our family. I am happy to say that we are great!!!
More to come...

Sisters
Addyson's Third Birthday
We celebrated her birthday at Chuck E Cheese this year. I love doing the party at home but since I brought home a newborn just a week prior, that wasn't going to happen. She and all of her friends had a great time running around with buckets full of tokens. Chuck even made an appearance...and terrified the birthday girl. She scrambled under the table over to her daddy when she saw him coming.
And here is...The Party Pooper!
